Movie in the Park Church

Christian Events Toowoomba hosted more than 200 people at their free event, screening 2023 award winning film Journey to Bethlehem at Living Grace Church. Although the weather did not permit an outdoors event this time around, this did not dampen the energy and powerful message of the movie. The event featured face-painting, balloons, a sausage sizzle and live nativity animals - just like what Mary and Joseph experienced on that very first Christmas.

  • The event was completely free! Face painting, balloons, the animal farm and the sausage sizzle were all provided for free.

  • Saturday, 30 November at 5:30 PM. The movie began around 6:45.

  • The event was moved indoors to Living Grace Church, 90 Jellicoe Street due to weather conditions. The event was originally planned to be held in the Queens Park Amphitheatre.

  • Aside from the movie, there were many other activities on at the event. There was live music, an animal farm, a balloon man, face painting, and a sausage sizzle.
